AnubisNetworks sponsors B-Sides Lisbon 2016 that will be held November 11th at Microsoft Portugal in Parque das Nações.

AnubisNetworks will present at Sponsor Sessions a presentation entitled "Orphan traffic: A $10 multi million device mobile attack platform" by Dan Dahlberg  (Research Scientist at BitSight) and João Gouveia (CTO e Co-Founder of AnubisNetworks) at 2:00 pm. On this presentation we will discuss briefly our observations on what we call orphaned traffic, focusing on a specific scenario that we have been tracking lately where a specific Android firmware being distributed could potentially allow the bad guys to easily take over millions of devices. On our constant efforts to monitor network level traffic around the world while looking out for potential malicious indicators, we often come across traffic that isn't malicious by intent, but nevertheless can pose a serious risk to companies and users.

At this event, we will also present a Workshop - “Malware Investigations 101 - by Valter Santos, Threat Intelligence Researcher at AnubisNetworks. In his presentation, Valter will showcase the fascinating world of malware investigations that aims to provide students with concepts, tools and techniques needed to perform malware analysis and threat indicators collection.
